HR Advantage, one of the UK's leading providers of flexible and practical people management services has launched two new services that it believes employers without in-house people management experts will find invaluable.
The HRA Extra and HRA Health services are easily accessible, inexpensive on-line packages that help employers keep legal. Stuart McKellar , a Director of HR Advantage based at the firm's Honiton office, said "It is our objective to help employers meet all their obligations under current employment and health and safety legislation. Employers can now email us reporting their problems and we will reply giving detailed advice that will help prevent them making potentially expensive mistakes".
The HRA Extra service also provides template documents, practical advice and guidance, a database of HR law that explains employment legislation in a straightforward way. The HRA Health services provides a Health & Safety risk assessment user guide covering a wide range of specific industries, Health & Safety advice.
"We help employers deal with the increasing complexity of many employment issues" continued Stuart "We focus on providing adaptable solutions, across many sectors, and have the flexibility to provide employers with what they want, when they need it, tailored exactly to their individual requirements". HR Advantage provides key services to employers covering recruitment difficulties, absenteeism, health and safety regulations, all forms of discrimination, employee performance, contracts and handbooks and all aspects of employment law.
A growing number of people in the workplace have some knowledge of employment laws and increasingly resort to litigation. "The trend of employees from businesses of all sizes bringing claims against their employers is growing all the time" said Stuart."We can help organisations implement appropriate plans to ensure they comply with all current employment regulations and thereby avoid such claims".
"Whilst the maximum compensatory award in cases of unfair dismissal is limited to £58,000 there is no maximum award in cases of discrimination" explains Stuart. "Legislation due to come into effect from October 2006 will make age discrimination at work illegal and as tribunal awards and settlements continue to rise, legislation increases and becomes more demanding and employees grow increasingly aware of their rights, it's vital that employers obtain expert advice. HR Advantage, with a team of human resource experts including employment lawyers, helps employers get it right every time".
