The pressure on organisations to adopt environmentally-friendly policies is growing. Although recent research has found that 78% of UK employers claim to be more environmentally conscious today than they were five years ago, the government, consumer groups and customers themselves are identifying that there is still room for lots of improvement and becoming increasingly vocal in their efforts to promote a positive stance in environmental activities.

The bottom line though, is that this is becoming a major economic issue as well.
