Wear It Pink in Association with Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Friday 31^st October 2008 wasn?t just any old Friday in the HR Advantage office. To mark the end of Breast Cancer Awareness Month we joined in by wearing ? and eating! - pink and helping to raise money to fund the vital research undertaken by the charity. Our efforts were organised by Vicki Gates and not even HR Advantage MD Campbell Ritchie was allowed to resist. Technology Update

We have been working hard to create an action packed next three months:

Watch out for:

1.         Our updated web-site. Launching in early December, we hope you will like it.

2.         A new on-line HR system. Our market leading on-line HR administration systems are about to get even better as 'theHRsystem' is set to go live in January 2009.

3.        The benefits of our new back office business management system, designed to help us improve our invoicing and time recording processes.

Congratulations

Congratulations to HR Advantage business development guru Claire Cooper on the birth of her daughter Molly Marie-Ann. Both are doing excellently and we don't expect it will be long before Claire starts to pick up her mobile phone.

Welcome to Ken and Christine

Ken Pomeroy and Christine Devlin have joined the High Wycombe team to help with a range of projects. Ken is helping to mastermind our new web site, the implementation of our new business management system and a range of other infrastructure projects. Christine has just completed an MSc in Occupational Psychology and is supporting a range of client activities.

Mark's Sweet Tooth Gets the Better of Him!

Mark Shortell is leaving HR Advantage at the end of November to take up a full time position as Head of HR with Tangerine Confectionery.

As many readers will know, Mark has provided senior HR consultancy support to Tangerine for a number of years and this is to some extent a natural progression. Tangerine have grown through acquisition to the point where they need a full time head of HR and Mark was their obvious choice. I am very sorry that Mark is leaving us for Tangerine - but it is clearly the right thing for him to do. We also look forward to being able to work with Mark in his new capacity (provided, he says, that we continue to offer a great service and excellent value for money!).

Mark's other clients will continue to be looked after by members of the HR Advantage team, including long time HR Advantage partner Carl Kovacs.

We would very much like to record our thanks to Mark for everything he has done for HR Advantage over the past nine years. We will miss him as a direct work colleague but we know we will enjoy all the other relationships we have established.
