HR Advantage buys 'Partners in People'
We are very pleased to be able to announce our purchase of the HR business 'Partners in People' with effect from the 1st October 2008.
Partners in People has been developed by David Mattinson and his wife Diane over the past 9 years and supplies a range of HR support services to over 30 organisations. David and Diane and HR Advantage MD Campbell Ritchie and his wife Ruth have known each other for some time and when David said he was thinking about retiring it was an obvious discussion about whether a suitable arrangement could be found to allow HR Advantage to offer take over from David. The answer is that it was and we are very pleased to have the opportunity to carry on where David and Diane are leaving off.
David and Diane will be a hard act to follow (although David will be supporting the handover over the next three months) but we are working hard to make the change of supplier as smooth and as easy as possible.
From HR Advantage's point of view the acquisition of Partners in People is a very exciting opportunity to accelerate the development of our own business and our broader service capability should be an added benefit to Partners in People clients.
Investors in People
HR Advantage has been a recognised 'Investor in People' for over 5 years now and September 2008 marked the due date for our second formal external review since we were first awarded IiP status. We are very pleased to report that although we have more than doubled in size since the last review and this assessment was our first against the 'new standard' we passed with flying colours.
